Children's MinistryAll of our children's and youth ministries are optional. It is not our desire to create a separate youth sub-culture. The Bible consistently and explicitly gives the primary responsibility for teaching children to their parents. Nursery, child and youth ministries in a church can help, strengthen, confirm, and reinforce what parents are teaching, but they will never be the primary or substantial influence on our children. TBC seeks to come along side parents in that role, not to take it from them.
0-3Mrs. Charlotte Hansen cares for the babies on Sunday mornings, while their parents worship in the Bible study hour. The children play with toys, read Bible stories and sing songs with Mrs. Hansen, blow bubbles and enjoy learning to play together. Mrs. Hansen's goal is to have a place where the children feel loved and secure while their parents are in a Sunday school class. "It has been a blessing for me to spend time with the children." 4-7Mrs. Kay Hough, lovingly called "Nana" by nearly all of the Trinity body, focuses on finding deep Biblical truths embodied in the Scripture as she points our little ones to Christ. Her desire is to glorify God in the eyes of our children and others. The children love Nana and have a wonderful time learning and memorizing Scripture, and making crafts related to the lesson being taught. Mrs. Hough enjoys seeing little ones learning God's word in a real and positive way. NurseryNursery care is available during Sunday service. Again, all of our children's ministries are optional. If you would like to train your child to remain in the service, they are welcome to stay with you. Also, we ask that parents pick up their children immediately following service. Thank you for your consideration. If you would like to volunteer your time to the TBC nursery and to cultivating relationships with parents and their children, please contact Kayla Hough: 318-938-0221. FIT- Fellowship In Truth
